Business administration and management are two closely related fields that both involve the direction of an organization. Though they may seem similar, there are many differences between the two fields.
Business administration is a broader term than business management, as it can include directing finances or human resources in addition to managing day-to-day operations. Another difference is how statistics are used: whereas business managers might focus on short-term analysis for decision making purposes, administrators tend to use more long-term analysis methods such as forecasting and modeling.
