Professional Diploma In Oil & Gas Technology
The oil and gas industry has been struggling for some time now, with a recent report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) indicating that production is likely to drop significantly in the coming years.
The EIA’s latest Monthly Energy Review shows that natural gas production is set to drop by 32% between 2017 and 2035, while crude oil production will be down 24% over the same period of time.
Currently, natural gas accounts for about half of all domestically produced energy sources in America, and crude makes up more than three-quarters of total U.S. liquid fuel consumption, so this trend could have major implications on both our economy as well as our environment going forward.
